The Canberra Yacht Club Sailing School, is a professional, fully accredited sail coaching school, and boat hire business.

We operate from Lotus Bay, on the picturesque Lake Burley Griffin providing courses for beginners, new crew members and first time boat owners.

We provide a comprehensive range of training for all levels of sailing, from small dinghies to ocean going yachts. All of our courses can be tailored to suit you and our aim is to make sailing fun and enjoyable for all. Please ask about one on one coaching, or fun corporate days for your office team members.

Our qualified and registered instructors provide the level of guidance you need and encourage you to progress as far as you wish to.

The theory component of the sailing lessons are held in the ground floor training room of the Canberra Yacht Club, at Mariner Place Yarralumla. The on water practical sessions are backed up by modern rescue boats and facilities.

At the end of each course you will receive a Sailing School certificate stating the skills attained, together with the relevant endorsements in your Yachting Australia Log Book.
